In Windows XP
After you have clicked on the link, a dialogue box will appear asking
"Do you want to open or save this file?"
Select Save
You can then set the directory where the file is to be saved. It does not need to be C:\Nils4, but do note where it is saved.
A "Download Complete" Dialogue Box will appear. Select "Open"
A box should appear containing a file called Lactlv.exe
Double click on the filename Lactlv.exe
A Dialogue box will appear stating "The publisher could not be verified" Select "Run"
A "Winzip Self Extractor" Dialogue box should appear. Select "Unzip"
A message should appear saying "1 file unzipped successfully" Select Okay.
The required change has been made to the database.
The steps may be similar in Windows Vista - instructions will be added soon.
Please note
If you have encountered the message "Your evaluation edition has expired" or similar on or after June 30th, a new copy of the file Nils4s (according to your version of Office) is required. This can be copied from the CD if you have one, or downloaded by clicking below.
